Founder Profile and Strategic Rationale

Inclusive Hearts Uganda Limited (IHU) is founded and led by a professional with a strong background in Environmental Management, a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Gender and Inclusion, Climate adaptation and Sustainability. This unique blend of expertise and business leadership positions IHU to design inclusive, sustainable, agribusiness and market-oriented development interventions that respond to the needs of vulnerable populations while ensuring organizational sustainability.

The Founder’s qualifications inform a strategy that integrates environmental conservation, inclusive agribusiness, smart innovation, and market systems thinking, with inclusion intentionally embedded across all pillars.

Miriam Ademun

Executive Director

Miriam is an inclusive development specialist with over 10 years’ experience advancing gender equality, disability inclusion and empowerment programs across Uganda, Kenya, DRC and Rwanda. She has led impactful programs in education, sustainable livelihoods, health and safeguarding.

With a background in Climate Adaptation and Sustainability, Environmental Management, Public Health, and an MBA in marketing mgt & Innovations, she blends technical expertise with inclusive, community-driven on agribusiness and enterprise development approaches to promote equity for marginalized groups.

Silver Tumwa

Agribusiness & Rural Dev’t Specialist

 Silver is an experienced agribusiness and rural development professional with over 12 years of practice supporting smallholder farmers and agricultural enterprises across Uganda and EA region. His work focuses on strengthening inclusive value chains through climate-smart agriculture, agroecology, market access, and cooperative development.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Mgt, advanced postgraduate in International Devpt and Agri-Enterprise Development. Over the years, he has designed and delivered capacity-building programs for farmer groups, cooperatives, and development organizations.

Sarah Ibiara

Finance & Admin

 

Sarah is a skilled Finance and Administration professional, adept at managing financial operations, budgeting, and organizational processes. She holds a bachelors in Finance and Accounting.

Sarah ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while streamlining administrative systems. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Sarah supports strategic decision-making, drives operational excellence, and fosters a structured, well-organized work environment.

Constance Owomugisha

Liaison & Culture Manager

 

Constance blends administrative expertise, HR leadership, mobilization and counselling skills to foster thriving, inclusive communities and workplaces.

She holds a Bachelor’s in Economics and a Diploma in International and Strategic Human Resource Management.

Constance champions inclusive cultures, drives talent and community engagement, and ensures organizational efficiency while prioritizing staff and community wellbeing.

Dorcas Amoding

Marketing & Partnerships Associate

 

As the Head of Market Linkages and Partnerships, she leads initiatives that facilitate structured trade, strengthen business networks, and unlock inclusive economic opportunities for rural producers. Her work contributes to increased incomes, resilient enterprises, and sustainable agribusiness growth across the communities and the diaspora.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science and a Master’s degree in International Development Studies. Dorcas brings strong expertise in private sector engagement, value chain coordination, and partnership development between communities, government institutions, and agribusiness actors.

Japheth Otim

M&E Manager

 

Japheth is an accomplished M&E Manager with a Master’s in Monitoring and Evaluation. He excels in designing, implementing, and analyzing performance frameworks, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

Skilled in reporting, impact assessment, and program improvement, he drives organizational effectiveness, accountability, and evidence-based strategies, fostering measurable growth and informed development outcomes.
