Who We Are
Inclusive Hearts Uganda (IHU) is an inclusive development organization and social enterprise that helps communities turn their skills and ambition into thriving enterprises and dignified livelihoods.
Our work focuses on four thematic areas

We deliver practical, evidence-based solutions that get results. Working hand in hand with development agencies, government, the private sector, cooperatives, farmer organizations and rural enterprises, we strengthen business performance, open up markets, expand access to finance and build resilience to a changing climate.
Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. Gender equality, youth participation, disability inclusion and refugee inclusion are built into every program. The people too often left out (women, young people, persons with disabilities, teenage mothers and smallholder farmers) become entrepreneurs, leaders and drivers of change in their communities

Climate-Smart Agriculture & Food Systems
Supporting farmers to adapt to changing weather through climate-smart practices, better post-harvest handling, aggregation and reliable markets.
Inclusion of Women, Youth & Persons with Disabilities
Making sure those most often left out, including women, youth, persons with disabilities and teenage mothers, can take part in and benefit from every programme.
Clean Energy & Digital Innovation
We promote solar cookers and energy-efficient stoves made and sold by local entrepreneurs, and equip women, youth and persons with disabilities with digital skills to reach markets and financial services.
