Our Strategic Pillars
Inclusive Hearts Uganda (IHU) advances inclusive economic empowerment, resilient livelihoods and sustainable development through three interconnected strategic pillars.
As an inclusive organization, we intentionally design our programmes and technical services to create meaningful opportunities for women, youth, persons with disabilities, vulnerable households, farmer organizations, cooperatives, MSMEs and rural enterprises. Inclusion is therefore not a stand-alone programme area; it is embedded across everything we do.
Our work combines enterprise development, financial and market inclusion, climate resilience, sustainable food systems and responsible natural resource management to strengthen people, enterprises, institutions and communities.
Our work is organized around three strategic pillars:
- Business Development Services (BDS) & Enterprise Growth
- Climate Resilience & Sustainable Food Systems
- Biodiversity & Natural Resource Management
Together, these pillars enable women, youth, persons with disabilities, enterprises, and communities to overcome economic and environmental barriers, build resilient livelihoods, access sustainable opportunities, and achieve inclusive, dignified, productive, and empowered lives.
